- have chinstraps that look penciled in
- hang out with girls from other schools because they can't get with the ones from their own
-are forced to skip practice because of their weekly banjo lesson

-add "ster" to every word
i.e. i would love to smoke a stogster right now
- leave their sunglasses on their heads/around their necks whatever time of day it is
- use phrases like "let's chill" or "we chillin it up?"
- know how to play every sublime song on the guitar
- do the pinky and thumb shake
- say they surf even though they've never owned a board
- play gamecube every day
